Alen started his career in construction as a carpenter. After earning top marks during his apprenticeship, he moved quickly through the ranks of foreman to superintendent up to estimator and finally project manager. After nearly 20 years of working for general contractors on a wide variety of projects, Alen moved into the world of property management.

He spent 17 years as a senior construction manager for one of the most prestigious landlords in Western Canada. During this time, his responsibilities included project needs assessment, charter development, budget development, and funding approvals. His expertise also includes design team procurement, contractor selection, contract award and administration, and completion documentation. Alen was also responsible for making sure projects met the strict design criteria manuals for each property and reporting back to ownership. Alen has since joined DIALOG as a contract administrator in our Calgary studio.
