Matthew is an experienced architect with a passion for project design and developing ideas in an inclusive way. His 15 year career spans all facets of project work, from master planning to detail drawing and contract administration.

Matthew understands how design can create a space that is intuitive, welcoming, and social. This philosophy is reflected in projects such as the Calgary International Airport Terminal at YYC, the Glenbow Museum renovation in Calgary, and the Fort Calgary’s Interpretive Centre expansion.

Matthew’s community involvement goes beyond the studio. He worked with an interdisciplinary team to identify a strategic approach to the Sustainability Plan for the town of Cochrane AB. This engagement initiated the development of the Sustainable Partners Uniting Resources initiative, which evolved to outline the implementation of the Sustainability Plan.
